Happy Teachers Day is Happy Customers Day
Who teaches us the best in our work. We enrol for training, and make notes when in talks with our leaders or industry experts because we want to learn. Fair point. However, it is the customers who teach us the best lessons, most often the hard way.
This “Teachers Day” is for anyone who is not happy with a product. Anyone who makes a support call or raises a support ticket, or who stop using a product because of a bad experience, you really guide product #UX teams for how we should #design.
Yes, you are the best teachers.

Imagine a product customers’ raising a support ticket, or they stop using your product because of a bad experience.
This to me is the most useful lesson that product teams can learn. They can avoid it while designing products of course, but they cannot do that without learning some lessons first.
So, yes it is *Happy Customers Day* today on 05 September which is traditionally the *Happy Teachers Day*.
We need to respect the customers, their pains, their time, and their anguish. This can be far more useful than any calculus or economics that we learn when in school.
